We know how the hi-ways go, so busy and that stupid person who just has to be first!!!

Let them be first!!! Don't rush to show them up!!! Don't rush to get there, for those percious moments you think will get you out of the rat race may get you and those you love into a death race!!!

Take your time, drive in the right lane... If you are travelling long distances, for god's sake stop, take a break 3 hours at a time is the longest you should go, without a break...

Keep alert, turn the cell phone off, if you need to look at a map even those gps's stop and gather your wits around you and pay attention...

Driving, is not the time to have that morning coffee, read the paper or apply makeup or brush your hair!!!

Above all my friends, drive safe, keep alert and arrive alive....

Road Safety at this time of year needs extra precautions....

1.  Care a package of candles at least three of the small ones and keep some dry matches on hand!!!

2.  Carry a car blanket for each member who will be traveling in the vechile.

3.  Carry at least one green garbage bag and four white grocery bags... these are to help hold warmth in, if you can take shoes off as soon as you realize you are not going anywhere and place feet inside each one then put shoes back on, if this is not possible then just pull over the shoes will still help keep warmth in...  with hands place bags over the mitts or gloves.... green garbage bag is for body... just cut head out and pull over all outer clothing...

4.  Carry some hard candies in a bag to keep throat refreshed.

5.  Carry a paperback to read, a deck of cards or dice or a colouring book and crayons, note not pens or markers as they may freeze then of no good lol...

6.   Before going on a long trip, make sure all batteries are new in flashlights, if you can take a battery pack that will restart battery of car if needed... also carry a bottle of water, make it as hot as you can from home that way even if it does get cold it is fresh.... if you travel a lot look into getting one of them car water heaters that plug into lighter spot, these work good and if you have one and water you could even carry a small care pack in vechile of instant soups, coffee, tea or hot chocolate!!!

7.   Carry an extra hat, and mitts....

Finally, if weather is bad, put off going anywhere, rushing out for something of little value, could take away your whole life, from being disabled to being dead....

You are very welcome most of the stuff can be kept in the trunk or even in one seat in the car, comes in hany if stuck in traffic too!!!
